Q. Is there anything us average humans with no skinning skills can do to support the project, other than the donations page?
A. There are a number of things that you can do to help besides working directly on the project. One of the most important would be to spread the word about the project, the bigger the community, the more fun. Also, hanging out in the forums and taking part in the discussions that occur in them is a big help. It allows the developers to get active feedback on what you are looking for in the game.

Q. What are the advantages of using TSE over TGE?
A. TSE has rebuilt nearly every aspect the Torque Engine for optimization, including a massive graphics upgrade over TGE. Of course, the netcode is superb, and takes full advantage of the capabilities afforded by modern server technology. Although the main advantages are in graphic rendering and appearance, TSE represents a revolutionary advance in game engine design.

Q. What will the graphics look like compared to TGE games, such as Tribes 2?
A. The Garage Games Torque Shader Engine (TSE) includes a complete graphics system overhaul. This means you can expect to see much more sophisticated shading & shadows unavailable in the older Torque Gaming Engine (TGE), as well as ‘eye candy’ environmental effects. The bottom line is this game will look next-generation.
