Aspects regarding the game itself.
Q. Should we expect this game to be like a Tribes ‘clone’ or will it be more ‘Tribes-like’, with new things for us to learn and master? Will the game resemble T1, T2, or T: V?
A. People who enjoyed the Tribes series will enjoy this game. There are many familiar mods available along with a completely new and original base game. Being built on the TSE, you can expect a more realistic look and feel to our worlds than the engine used in T:V.

Q. What are the planned map sizes and target player counts?
A. Expect a variety of map sizes ranging from huge to up-close-and-personal! The engine’s excellent net-code allows player counts to exceed the anticipated 64 person limit, provided the server can handle it.

Q. What cheat protection measures will be implemented?
A. We have ‘Rodent’, (creator of the world-famous T2 ‘Defense-Turret’), hard at work to ensure a cheat-resistant environment.

Q. What community features are planned for the game?
A. We have not finalized a list yet. Expect, (among other things), a wide variety of community features such as in game IRC, ladders, auto-download systems, in-game clan tools and a clan registry.

Q. What Single player / tutorial missions will be included?
A. There will be several tutorial maps. All focus is currently on Multi-Player aspects of the game. If community interest warrants it, we will consider a Multi player Co-op / Counter-Op Expansion.

Q. What terrain ‘flow’ will the maps use at release? Will the terrain be closer in resemblance to the rolling terrain of Tribes1 or the rougher terrain of Tribes2?
A. It really depends on the map. We are interested in spectacular and realistic maps as well as gameplay.

Q. What weapons are there which are similar to Tribes?
A. We do have a variety of weapons found in the Traditional FPS genre such as grenade launchers, blasters, and mortars. You can also expect to see an energy disk launcher and laser rifles. A more quantifiable list will be found at the game’s website prior to release.

Q. Will game names be unique and will users require a serial number to create an account?
A. Game names will not be unique. Unique ‘keys’ will be implemented.

Q. Will players have color-coded icons like (T2 / T:V), or names (like BF2)?
A. The game will feature color-coded icons (rather than names) to prevent Team Kills.

Q. Will the game have Tournament mode / shoutcast support?
A. There will be a ‘tourney’ mode with customizable rule sets, which can be modifed by each ladder such as TWL, OGL, and others. There will also be shoutcast support.

Q. Will the game physics feel realistic?
A. Physics will be realistic in respect to the laws of motion and gravity. Of course, this type of game allows you to explore new worlds in a number of fun & exciting ways, such as via jetpacks and ‘skiing’ (both on land and water). Emphasis is being placed on creating an enjoyable and immersive experience.

Q. Will there be in-game Instant Messaging (IM)?
A. We will have in-game IRC which features an IM system to contact your buddies whether they are inside a server, or hanging out in the chat lobby.
