Ascension Testing Program

Basic Information

 

The Ascension Testing Program is a series of tests conducted with the help of our community. Our current plans call for three testing periods referred to as simply Beta 1, Beta 2, and Beta 3. If you have any questions, please ask on our forums.

 

Application & Non-Disclosure Agreement

Anyone wishing to participate in the testing program must complete an application and online non-disclosure agreement (NDA). Application & NDA. A portion of the participants will be selected from among the applicants.

 

Testers

Beta 1:

Beta Spot Contest winners and RenWerX Developer nominations will be the first group of testers. We may also select users from the pool of applicants (see: Application).

 

Beta 2/3:

The testing group will be expanded with more applicants. Participants from the first/second round are asked to invite more testers into the program. The specific number of available invitations will be announced during Beta 1/2.

 

 Rules

These rules may be amended at any time without notice.

• All account holders (Ascension Alpha Testers, Ascension Beta Testers) must have a signed non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and beta tester agreement on record.
• Account holders may not sell, give, trade, or in any other way transfer an account.
• Accounts may only be used by the account holder the account was issued to by RenWerX Studios.
• Account holders will be given access to private resources (forums, IRC channels, etc...) for the immediate reporting of all bugs, exploits, glitches, and other anomalies found while testing.
• No screenshots, videos, or media of any type may be posted outside of the RenWerX Studios private forums without prior explicit approval from a RenWerX Studios Developer.
• Account holders are to conduct themselves in a professional manner - behaving in any way that can be deemed inappropriate, in poor taste, or harmful to RenWerX Studios, RenWerX staff, or other account holders is reason for dismissal from the testing program.
• Account holders will comply with requests from RenWerX developers during testing.

DISCLAIMER:

Participation in the alpha and beta testing programs is a privilege. Account holders work at-will and may exit the program at any time given that these rules, the NDA, and beta tester agreements are not broken.
RenWerX Studios reserves the right to revoke testing privileges from account holders at any time with or without reason and/or pursue legal action if necessary.

RenWerX Studios reserves the right to modify these rules as needed. Changes to these rules become effective immediately.
